Whitewater Lakefront / Lake Access
Whitewater Lake is a 625 acre, 38′ deep “All Sports” lake in the heart of the Kettle Moraine State Forest just 30 minutes from Lake Geneva. Whitewater Lake offers fun for the entire family, from swimming off your own pier, to building castles in the sand at the Kettle Moraine State Park Beach, to chasing trophy bass and cocktail cruises on your pontoon, to competition show skiing with the Southern Wakes United Water Ski Team (alternating Saturday evening Ski Shows at Scenic Ridge Campgrounds beach), or just just chilling and grilling on your lakeside deck, Whitewater lake offers it all. So bring your bikes, kayaks, fishing poles, boats/jet skis, snowmobiles and pets, because miles of hiking, biking, snowmobiling and X-Country ski trails are waiting for you to explore. Numerous restaurants, golf courses, shopping and marina’s are also nearby.
Rice Lake (Lower Whitewater Lake) is a 137 Acre “All Sports” lake directly adjacent to popular Whitewater Lake in the heart of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. A majority of its shoreline lies in the Kettle Moraine State Park and is heavily forested for a true “northwoods” ambiance. Rice Lake offers a more peaceful vibe than its big brother Whitewater Lake and pontoon boats and fishing boats are more popular than inboard ski boats but the latter are welcome. For the best of both worlds – you can lease an inexpensive Boat Slip on adjacent Whitewater Lake’s 640 acres and enjoy world class water skiing. Miles of hiking, biking, snowmobiling and cross county ski trails are waiting for you to explore. There is even a “Dog Park” at the north end of the lake to exercise your canine friends.
